Christmas has been durably connected with music in the European culture.There is hardly another period of the ecclesiastic year to be accompanied by music in such a rich way as the Christmastide. No wonder that during the liturgic year the tones of music of spiritual, secular, popular and serious character have met, including works of both renown masters and unknown authors.
